This site was fabricated as a learning exercise to examine the building materials and construction techniques of a simple web page, and also to provide a means of sharing our photos, recipes, or whatever with those interested. The HTML coding was done with HTML-Kit, a free editor found online. The photo viewer I originally incorporated was also free online and was very easy to use. However, I now use a photo program named Gallery which I like better because of it's editing abilities. The site is hosted by Acenet. The webcam that used to point at the lake was a Logitech Orbit MP which we have now retired. Its duties have been picked up by a network camera, a Panasonic BL-C131A, which can be controlled remotely. In stark contrast to this simple web page, visit this guy's site to see beautiful examples of professionaly constructed websites.
